Tim Hoerman’s practice focuses on litigation with an emphasis on catastrophic injuries arising from construction and transportation accidents. Tim also counsels construction companies on OSHA issues, provides representation to construction companies in OSHA citation proceedings, and counsels construction companies on the legal aspects of drafting safety/accident prevention programs and policies that comply with both state and federal statutes, regulations and case law. In addition, Tim assists construction and transportation companies in contract negotiation to ensure that risks are properly limited or allocated. Tim also has experience in commercial and residential real estate transactions, and counsels small businesses, including Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Women Owned Businesses (WBE), and Minority Owned Businesses (MBE), on all aspects of government contracting.
A graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Law (J.D. 1998) and Loyola University of Chicago (B.S. 1987), Tim was admitted to practice in Illinois in 1998 and has since been admitted to practice in Missouri (2007) and Pennsylvania (2010). He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Tim is a member of both the Illinois State and Chicago Bar Associations.
Prior to entering private practice, Tim clerked for the Hon. John W. Rapp, Jr. of the Illinois Appellate Court, Second District.
