Tracy co-founded the law firm of Morris, Cary, Andrews, Talmadge & Driggers in 1999. Each of the five lawyers in our law firm have similar interests. We are dedicated to our faith, our families and our firm.
Although Tracy focuses on all types of injury and accident claims, he also has chosen to focus on workers’ compensation claims. Many times injured workers are among the most vulnerable of our society. Tracy has authored and published a consumer-rights book - The Injured Worker's Survival Guide - The Five Mistakes That Can Wreck Your Workers' Compensation Claim - and has also authored many articles and reports to help accident victims. He has created a website – www.bamacomp.com and blog, exclusively devoted to job-related accidents.
Tracy earned his law degree in 1992 from the University of Alabama School of Law. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications in 1985. Tracy served as a field artillery and JAG officer in the United States Army and the Alabama Army National Guard.
Tracy is married with four children. He is active in his church, Covenant United Methodist Church, and in his community. Personal:
Tracy was born in Kansas City, Kansas and grew up in the panhandle of Florida in a very large family. As a teenager, Tracy furthered his musical interests by spending 18 months traveling across 45 states playing guitar in a Christian musical group that performed in prisons, churches and schools. Later, Tracy attended a semester of Bible training at Capernwray Bible School in Lancashire, England.
Tracy worked his way through college and law school, at times working as many as three jobs at the same time. After graduating from the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communications, Tracy entered the U.S. Army where he was named Trainee Leader of the Cycle in basic training and then completing the Army's Officer Candidate School where he was commissioned a second lieutenant in the field artillery. After completing a three-year tour of duty in the Army's "Big Red One" Tracy entered the University of Alabama School of Law, graduating in December, 1992. During law school and afterwards, Tracy served as a captain in the Alabama Army Nation Guard in both the Field Artillery and the Judge Advocate General's Corps.
After law school, Tracy served as law clerk and staff attorney to Justice Hugh Maddox of the Alabama Supreme Court. After serving at the Alabama Supreme Court, Tracy began his practice exclusively in civil litigation.
Tracy enjoys playing bass and guitar in the contemporary worship service at Covenant United Methodist Church and he also enjoys spending time with family, sports, reading, writing and traveling.
Tracy and his wife Susan are the proud parents of three daughters: Rachel, Sara, and Emma, and a son Eli.
