Tyler was born and raised in southern Arizona, and he enlisted in the United States Army after high school. While in the Army, Tyler obtained a degree in Arabic from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, and he earned an advanced certificate from the Qalam wa Lawh Center for Arabic Studies in Rabat, Morocco.
After being honorably discharged from the Army, Tyler earned his J.D. from the Monterey College of Law in 2020. Throughout his studies, he took an active interest in providing legal services to those in need and purposefully enrolled in legal clinics at the Community Justice Center. Tyler also volunteered at the family law clinic during Monterey County's 2018 Homeless Veterans Stand Down. During his final year at the Monterey College of Law, Tyler interned with the Monterey County District Attorney's Office making appearances on the record and assisting in the prosecution of misdemeanor and felony crimes as a Bar Certified Legal Intern.
Tyler is a dedicated father and passionate about Family Law. He understands the challenges our families face, and he has worked under the guidance and mentorship of Rory S. Coetzee and Andrew L. Gibaut as a Law Clerk here at the R.S.C. Law Group, Inc. since March of 2018. On February 5, 2021 Tyler was approved to practice as a provisionally licensed lawyer by the state bar of California.
