San Antonio Personal Injury Lawyer
Overview
Vincent P. Vasquez was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Following graduation from St. Anthony's Catholic High School, Vincent attended St. Mary's University, where he worked full-time while taking a full-time class load in order to put himself through college. After graduation, Vincent continued his education at St. Mary's School of Law. After graduating from law school in 2008 and becoming licensed, Vincent has worked in litigation his entire career as a lawyer throughout state and federal courts in Texas.
Prior to joining the Gámez Law Firm, Vincent worked for seven years for an insurance defense firm in San Antonio primarily defending commercial trucking companies and their drivers when sued as a result of motor vehicle crashes. This experience exposed Vincent to the inner workings of insurance companies and how commercial vehicle claims are evaluated.
This experience also allowed Vincent thoroughly understand how the trucking industry operates and the numerous federal and state regulations that govern their operations from hiring to driving. Vincent also has experience in defending insurance companies directly when sued by their policy holders following the denial of benefits under the insurance policy.
"Based on my experience as an insurance defense attorney, I'm very familiar with the tactics insurance companies will use to devalue and minimize your claim while trying to save every penny to benefit their bottom line," Vincent said. "Now that I'm working in personal injury law, I want to help injured Texans fight to get what they are rightfully owed."
Shortly after joining the Gámez Law firm, Vincent successfully settled two significant commercial cases.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level
- - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials
- - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost
- - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City
- - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
