Zoe grew up in New York City and has spent time abroad, living at different points in three countries outside the United States. In today's global environment, she brings a diverse array of experiences to our legal practice, applying her skills with curiosity and passion for the law.
Why Disability Law?
During college, Zoe served as president of the Military Support Club, a student organization that supported disabled veterans. It was then that she developed a passion for advocating for those in need. Following that, during law school, while working for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, Zoe gained hands-on legal experience helping victims obtain justice and compensation.
Today, she continues to pursue her passion for helping others as a member of the team of disability attorneys at Dabdoub Law Firm where each attorney specializes in disability insurance and ERISA. She works hard fighting for clients against all major disability insurance companies such as Cigna, Aetna, Hartford, Unum, and more.
Zoe's practice focuses on disability insurance claims governed by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). She also represents clients with individual disability insurance policies and own occupation policies. Zoe handles cases at all stages including initial claim filing, submitting an appeal and filing a lawsuit.
Because ERISA is a federal law she is able to represent clients across the nation.
Education and Background
Zoe graduated cum laude from Amherst College as a double major in Environmental Studies and Art and the History of Art. During college, she also rowed women's crew and studied sustainability and environmental science in Uppsala, Sweden.
Following graduation from Amherst, Zoe returned to New York City for two years, where she worked in a non-profit cultural organization that aims to be the connection between the Nordic countries and the United States.
No stranger to Florida, Zoe moved to Miami to attend University of Miami School of Law. She graduated cum laude and received a national CALI Excellence for the Future Award. She was a Dean's Fellow and president of the Business Law Society.

Zoe's experience gave her knowledge and understanding of the judicial process, from trials to appeals. She went on to work for the Appeals & Training Bureau of the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, honing her litigation skills in state and federal cases.
