Before becoming a Workers Compensation attorney, Mr. Kingdon worked as a C.P.A. and earned an LL.M in taxation.
He has worked as an applicant attorney, defense attorney claims adjuster and Judge Pro Tem. He is currently an independent contractor and was a member of the executive committee of the California Lawyers Association.
He is the author of the American Medical Association publication, A Medica-Legal Companion to the AMA Guides Fifth, Using the Guides as Intended, and Controversies in California Workers Compensation Rating. He is also the publisher and editor of the Kingdon Rating Newsletter, published three times per year.
Mr. Kingdon was a consultant to the American Medical Association for their joint continuing education program with the American Bar Association on the Sixth Edition of the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, and the Sixth Edition workbooks. He was also a reviewer for the Sixth Edition of the Guides.
He has taught classes for the I.E.A, and served as an expert witness.He has been a panelist at the CAAA convention, Workcompcentral, the CEB and the CLA.
He has done in house training for Perona, Langer et. al., Travelers Insurance, Republic Indemnity, Laughlin Falbo, and Mullin & Fillipi, among others.
