He also counsels clients to avoid potential pitfalls which may occur when a marriage or a relationship between parents ends, and is available to speak on any family law topics.

Ray is a member of the American, Ohio State and Stark County Bar Associations, and is admitted to practice in Ohio courts and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio.

After 32 years of building a regional family law practice throughout Northeastern and East Central Ohio, Ray joined Mills, Mills, Fiely & Lucas in opening the firm's Canton office in May 2013.

While attending law school he was employed by the office of the United States Attorney in Norfolk, Virginia.
