As a resident of Newburyport, Attorney Deschenes holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Maine at Orono, a Master's Degree in Business Administration from New Hampshire College and a Juris Doctor from the Northeastern University School of Law. He focuses his practice in zoning and permitting, land use, municipal permitting, and develoment law.
Attorney Deschenes is co-founder and currently a Director of the Westford Land Preservation Foundation, a non-profit land preservation group and also currently a Director of Common Ground Development, the non-profit development group of Community Teamwork Inc. Attorney Deschenes was formerly a member and Chariman of the Westford Conservation Commission, The Master Plan Implementation Committee, The Westford Affordable Housing Committee and the Westford Water Commission.
