His litigation practice has included the following cases argued before the Ohio Supreme Court: Cole v. Holland (1996), 76 Ohio St.3d 220; Wright v. Bloom (1994), 69 Ohio St.3d 596; and Springfield Local Board of Education v. Summit County Board of Revision (1994), 68 Ohio St.3d 493.
Dean has been an active member of the Summit County Trial Lawyers Association (former president for two terms), the Ohio Association for Justice (formerly the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers (and formerly serving as Trustee)), and National Association of Consumer Advocates. He has frequently served as a seminar speaker, including presentations to the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Akron Bar Association, and National Association of Consumer Advocates.
