Beth Sebaugh, Shareholder, has devoted more than three decades to an active litigation defense practice and has served as chief trial counsel in cases pending in state court, federal courts and before numerous governmental administrative agencies. She has been chief counsel in approximately one hundred jury trials inclusive of medical malpractice, professional negligence, employment law, catastrophic personal injury, product liability and death cases. Ms. Sebaugh has been involved in federal court multi-district litigation relative to toxic tort lawsuits. She has actively defended numerous contract related lawsuits and has garnered a plethora of published opinions favorable to her clients involving contract law, private school law and various charitable organizations.
She has served as a lecturer in trial practice continuing education programs as well as for hospitals, physician groups and education groups.
Ms. Sebaugh has served her profession in a multitude of pro-bono roles and enjoys an AV Preeminent rating with Martindale-Hubbell. She has also been named an Ohio Super Lawyer in 2007, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. In 2016, 2017, and 2018, Ms. Sebaugh was named a Super Lawyer member for the Top 25 Women in Cleveland and the Top 50 Women in Ohio; and a Super Lawyer in the Corporate Counsel Edition for 2008.
