    Hired Law firm 2012-2013
Susan helped me with a custody dispute/ CPS case daughter called cops on me due to my daughter using drugs! I then called CPS grandchildren 1-3 yrs age were removed by CPS AND PLACED and eventually adopted by paternal grandparents! THE Pima county sheriffs failed to investigate throughly investigate my drug addict daughter accusing me of unfounded accusations on another issue! Sheriff called the wrong cell phone number and NEVER CALLED MY DRUG ADDICT DAUGHTER BACK! All the Sheriff did was pass to county attorney who WANTED TO PROSECUTE ME! All FALSE ALLEGATIONS WERE ULTIMATELY DROPPED BY JUDGE BECAUSE OF DRUG ADDICT PARENTS WHO EVENTUALLY LOST CUSTODY OF THEIR CHILDREN CHOOSING HERION OVER THEIR KIDS! Sadly their father leg was amputated last year still an addict! Daughter hardly ever sees her kids!!

    Hired Law firm 2021-2022
Absolutely the worst law firm there is. Unresponsive and lies about even the smallest inquiries. This law firm is dirtier ethically than loan sharks and the other reviews show it. I would never knowingly hire these people even for my smallest of cases. Beware. Nothing will get done. Karma will get these people and their associates. Tiffany at reception is absolutely terrible with client service and is terrible at any for of communication. Go elsewhere for your family law needs.

Susan started off very responsive and seemed caring, but over time stopped responding to my niece (her client) and failed to provide any accounting of where the retainer money that we provided went. This lack of accountability and communiction is reprehensible in an attorney, especially in a custody case such as this one.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
