Mr. DeVoe attended Florida State University College of Law in 1995 where he was a member of Law Review and served as a judicial extern for the former Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court. Mr. DeVoe graduated with Honors and obtained his Juris Doctor in 1998.
Mr. DeVoe began his legal career as an associate at a statewide law firm; and, later, at an international law firm doing corporate and transactional work. He subsequently served as an in-house staff attorney for a large private company and as in-house Corporate Counsel for its Fortune 500, publicly-traded parent company. Mr. DeVoe obtained valuable litigation experience at the State Attorney’s Office where he worked as a trial attorney in the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida, which includes Orange County and Osceola County. Mr. DeVoe formed DeVoe Law Firm to focus his practice on family law and criminal defense.
Mr. DeVoe is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and Osceola County Bar Association. He participates as a volunteer at Orange County Teen Court and serves as a guest lecturer at a local university in Orlando, Florida.
