Kenneth T. Demmerle was born in Long Beach, California and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. He attended the University of California, Irvine and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. He subsequently was a school teacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District and then obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
Mr. Demmerle has been practicing law since 1992 and has been designated a Certified Family Law Specialist by the California State Bar. He is also rated as an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. This is the highest rating possible and is based on a peer review by other attorneys and judges of his exceptional legal ability and uncompromising ethics. He has been named a “Rising Star” and a “Super Lawyer” in Super Lawyers magazine. Ken Demmerle is also a graduate of the prestigious American Bar Association Family Law Advocacy Institute in Houston, Texas.
He advises clients with respect to all aspects of marital dissolutions, including issues related to child custody, child support, spousal support, and the characterization and division of separate and community property. This includes complex matters related to real estate, tracing, business valuations and other issues. Mr. Demmerle has a sub-specialty in drafting, reviewing and litigating issues related to premarital and postmarital agreements.
