Roger will personally work one-on-one with you and will take all the time necessary to: inform you about the important aspects of your case, explain how the law affects your case, and advise you about the potential outcomes of negotiation and litigation. Our goal is to make sure you have all the information and advice you need to make crucial decisions about the direction of your case. We will work closely with you to both inform and advise, but ultimately we always allow you to make the decision to settle or proceed to trial. We want to help you make the best choice for you .
In addition to providing you with Roger's personal attention, your case will get the benefit of our lengthy experience and our dedication to helping clients like you. We will thoroughly examine your case to identify the most important issues, and then carefully prepare and present those facts and arguments in support of your meritorious claims.
Our Clients.....
Our clients are those (almost exclusively individuals and families) who have been harmed by someone else's serious fault or negligence. While most of our clients are Colorado residents, we have had the privilege of representing clients from all around the country. We have also represented many international clients, from both Europe and South America, as well as a very large number of families and individuals who speak primarily Spanish. We have assistants and attorneys who help us in representing our many Spanish-speaking clients.
Where we practice....
Over the years, we have had the pleasure of traveling all around the State of Colorado, litigating cases on the West Slope in places like Grand Junction, Craig, Steamboat, Rifle, Glenwood, Gunnison, Montrose, Cortez, Durango and many others. We have handled cases on the Eastern Plains, in places like Fort Morgan, Sterling, Yuma, Wray, Burlington, Limon, and others.
Of course most of our cases are along the Front Range, from Fort Collins, Loveland, Longmont, Greeley, and Boulder down to Colorado Springs, Pueblo and Canon City.
Additionally, we have been called upon to represent a number of seriously injured clients in cases in Wyoming and Western Nebraska, and Roger enjoys traveling and practicing in those neighboring states.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level
- - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials
- - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost
- - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City
- - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
