Pat Woodward is a Quad Cities native who after serving as a JAG in the U.S. Navy returned to the Quad Cities. A skilled and well-versed trial lawyer who over the past 38 years has tried over 200 civil jury trials in both state and federal courts, Pat has represented clients in many different types of cases from personal injury arising from automobile crashes, falls, death cases as a result of an explosion, automobile - semi truck collisions, to injuries arising in the work place and has successfully represented clients in business disputes, construction cases and insurance coverage disputes and before the Workers Compensation Commissioner and has argued more than 20 cases in both state and federal appellate courts.
Recognized as an accomplished trial lawyer by his peers, Pat has been selected to the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers and is a member of numerous professional organizations dedicated to the advancement of trial by jury. In his practice, while understanding that many cases resolve prior to trial, Pat approaches each case with a mindset to win at trial. He utilizes team approach in each case to ensure a complete and thorough representation and emphasizes client participation and involvement.
Pat is a certified mediator having successfully completed the University of Texas Center for Conflict Resolution mediation training and utilizes this experience and knowledge to assist his clients, often reaching the best and most fulfilling resolution of their disputes short of trial and if not, having ensured all such avenues have been fully explored.
