Hired Law firm 2017-2020Not responsive and not trustworthy when dealing with a will and being the trustee. My daddy Lawrence Daniels was left in a will and it’s been over two years and still haven’t release his money. Continue to get the run around until he obtained an attorney to represent him. The funds has been cleared and the other attorney is waiting on Mr Jones to provide their firm with the address to mail his check. However, Mr Jones failed to provide the other firm the information they’ll requesting. Numerals phone calls has been made and not one response from Mr. Jones. Please if you’ve made this law office a trustee over your will or a trustee for your kids. Please, please reconsider. Get updates and give everyone in your will a copy of the originally will. You’ll thank me later. Yes, I’m familiar with the process and all the estate the will go through. However, the court been ruled in my father’s favorite and he Still failure to provide the information. Not trustworthy, play games and give you the run around. If it’s not in writing don’t believe it. Guess it’s going to take my family protesting outside his officer to get him to release and provide the required documentation. My opinion I don’t think he represents African Americans to his best available. Release the required information that was requested by the attorney for L.C. Daniels. ** I will update weekly until it’s done. Racialism is still @ it’s best in this small town Dooly County.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
