Mr. Dahl was born in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1971. In 1974, Mr. Dahl received his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he served as a Note and Comment Editor for the Notre Dame Law Journal and graduated cum laude.
