A born competitor, Jane attended college on a tennis scholarship. In her first jury trial after becoming a plaintiff's lawyer, she won a verdict over $900,000 on a no-offer personal injury case against a national retailer.
Jane had the honor of serving on the Oregon Trial Lawyers Board 1995-2006, was one of Oregon's two American Trial Lawyer Association Delegates 2000-2004, and was President of OTLA 2004-2005. She is an Associate in the American Board of Trial Advocates and is listed in Best Lawyers in America.
She has also served on the Oregon Law Institute Board and several local and state bar committees including the Oregon State Bar Affirmative Action Committee, the Oregon State Bar Procedure and Practice Committee and the Multnomah Bar Association Judicial Screening Committee. Jane is listed as one of the Best Lawyers in America; an Oregon Super Lawyer, one of Oregon's Top 25 Women Super Lawyers and one of Portland's Best Lawyers in Portland Monthly magazine.
Jane, like all the lawyers in our firm, believes in giving back. She works with and is a Board member of Portland Habitat for Humanity.
