Ms. Newman began her private law practice in 1985 and has obtained extensive experience in the area of realestate law, providing closing services froma wide range of clients, such as the The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, the Port of New Orleans, Habitat for Humanity, Neighborhood Development Foundation, The Housing Authority of New Orleans, numerous community development foundations, and thousands of residential and commerical real estate transactions throughout her 30year legal career. Attorney Newman has been recognized by several State Courts as an expertwitness in the area of realestatelaw. She has been a faculty member at numerous continuing legal education seminars speaking on such topics as "WillsandEstatePlanning", "Howto Prepare a HUD-1 Settlement Statement", "RealEstateClosings", etc.. Ms. Newman also has extensive experience in the area of WillsandEstates.
