As a counselor and litigator, Jeff helps his clients navigate the complex patent and regulatory issues related to bringing generic drugs to market. He enjoys developing creative strategies for his clients and then executing those strategies in litigation.

Jeff is a partner in the Madison office. He has concentrated his practice on the representation of generic pharmaceutical companies, including Hatch-Waxman litigation, for more than two decades. His practice focuses primarily in the area of patent litigation, opinion work, and client counseling. Jeff has represented many generic pharmaceutical companies and API manufacturers regarding Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) and 505(b)(2) submissions on a wide variety of products. He has acted as lead counsel and tried numerous Hatch-Waxman litigation matters to verdict.

Jeff has also litigated patent disputes relating to the pharmaceutical, chemical, and mechanical arts in federal courts throughout the United States and in the United States International Trade Commission. Jeff additionally has participated in many patent appeals, including arguing to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
