He also serves the citizens of Shelby County Tennessee as a Shelby County Deputy Divorce Referee - hearing officer. Gordon served as an Assistant Shelby County Attorney representing Shelby County, Tennessee in real estate and commercial transactions and litigation. Gordon represented Shelby County, Tennessee in the relocation of the NBA franchise the Memphis Grizzlies to Memphis, Tennessee, and matters regarding the construction and financing of the Fed Ex Forum. Gordon taught negotiable instruments as an adjunct professor at the University of Memphis School of law.
