Darrin has been in legal practice in a range of capacities for over 22 years. His practice includes business law, employment law, reputation defense, equine law, property law, and general litigation. He represents a variety of businesses as outside counsel.
Because of the expense and unpredictability of seeking litigation outcomes, Darrin works with clients to find alternatives to litigation, including mediation and settlement. When a resolution cannot be achieved, he has achieved substantial verdicts and settlements during litigation in business, personal injury/ medical malpractice, and reputation defense cases. He has defended matters resulting in a dismissal verdict for the defense.
Darrin has worked with a wide range of attorneys, from the solo practice attorneys to large firm counsel. Depending on the legal issue, Darrin and Rosha Legal Group, will work with the client to find the most beneficial and cost-effective representation, including joint representation or referral to a specialist.
Darrin understands the significant investment required to secure competent legal representation, and his goal is first to ensure every client receives value for that investment. If legal action is not the most cost-effective way to handle a matter, or if Rosha Legal Group is not the best positioned represent a client the firm will assist them in identifying alternatives that meet the client's needs.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level
- - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials
- - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost
- - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City
- - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
