Overview
Mark received his Bachelor of Arts degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1992, and his Juris Doctor, with great distinction, from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1995. While at McGeorge Mark was elected to the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Barristers; became a member of The Traynor Society; and won and an American Jurisprudence Award for excellent achievement in the study of Federal Courts. Mark was also a member of the McGeorge American Bar Association Moot Court Competition Team.
Mark is licensed to practice in all courts in all California State Courts; The United States District Court for the Eastern District of California; The United States District Court for the Northern District of California; The United States District Court for the Central District of California; The United States District Court for the Southern District and the United States Court of Appeals for The Ninth Circuit. Between 1998 and 2002, Mark taught appellate advocacy as an adjunct professor the McGeorge School of Law. Mark currently serves as a volunteer judge pro temp for El Dorado County Superior Court. Mark also currently serves as a coach for the McGeorge School of Law Moot Court Competition Team. Mark has been rated as a Northern California Super Lawyer.
