Since his admission to the Florida Bar in April 1999, Mr. Humphrey practiced with Brigham Moore, LLP, becoming a partner in 2003. He joined W.O. Birchfield in 2004 when they formed Birchfield & Humphrey P.A., He continues to be a Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and a state-certified general appraiser. He is a member of the Florida Bar Eminent Domain Committee, the Jacksonville Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
His experience includes the representation of property owners in a variety of complex condemnation issues involving inverse condemnation, direct condemnation, severance damages and business damages. Mr. Humphrey has tried eminent domain cases and represented clients throughout the state of Florida. He is also a Certified Circuit Court Mediator in Florida.
