David Glickman was born, raised and educated in Los Angeles and graduated cum laude from Pepperdine University in 1954. He graduated from the UCLA School of Law in 1957 and practiced continuously in the Los Angeles area until his retirement in 2020. He passed away in late 2020.

Mr. Glickman was considered one of the deans of the personal injury bar and his impressive list of accomplishments includes:

• Past president of the West Hollywood Bar Association
• Past president of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and holds the rank of Diplomate (the highest rank obtainable)
• Member of the National Board of Directors for the American Board of Trial Advocates
• Member of the Board of Governors of the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Association for over 35 years
• Honored by the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Association (now known as the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles or "CAALA") in 1977, earning the Trial Lawyer of the Year award. Received special awards for legal excellence in 1991 and 1997.

David Glickman was a frequent seminar speaker for CAALA and Consumer Attorneys of California (formerly the California Trial Lawyers Association) and has lectured on trial practice and tort litigation at nearly every law school in Southern California. More than 30 of his articles have been published in legal literature.

He has served as an arbitrator and as a special judicial settlement officer by appointment of the Los Angeles Superior Court on more than 200 cases, and has served on numerous bench-bar committees to improve the administration of justice.

David Glickman, who has tried more than 300 cases to jury verdict, was admitted to practice before all California State courts as well as:

• The United States Supreme Court
• The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals
• The United States District Courts in Los Angeles and San Francisco

He was a long time member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California, the American Association for Justice and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
