Patrick Johnston has concentrated his practice for over thirty- two years in personal injury litigation and criminal defense. He has been selected as a member of the Multi-million Dollar Advocates Group for multiple recoveries in excess of a million dollars. He graduated from Edwardsville High School and attended Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Illinois where he graduated with honors. He completed his law school education at St. Louis University School of Law. He has actively practiced in Southern Illinois and Missouri since 1990, including a position as Assistant State's Attorney for the Madison County State's Attorney's office. In 2003 he opened Johnston Law Offices, P.C., which is located in his hometown of Edwardsville, Illinois.
Patrick is married to his lovely wife, Tracy and they have triplet boys, Jacob, Benjamin and Michael. He is currently on the Board of Directors for the Bank of Hillsboro with twelve branches throughout Central and Southern Illinois. He has served as treasurer on the Board of Directors for Holishor Association and was past president of the Tri-City Bar Association. He is an active member of the Madison Bar Association, St. Clair County Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and American Association for Justice, Trucking Ligation Group, and he was a member of Local 525 Teamsters of America.
Patrick enjoys working in the community supporting many local organizations, Glen Ed Pantry, St. Boniface Catholic Charities, Neighbors in Need, Land of Lincoln Legal Services, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, OATH, Hospice of Southern Illinois, and Edwardsville Tiger Hockey.
Patrick enjoys traveling, golfing, hunting, and fishing with his sons. They have all graduated from college. Michael -(LSU) lives in Denver, Colorado, Benjamin -(MIZZOU) lives in Tampa, Florida, and Jacob- (SIU School of Law) lives in St. Louis, Missouri.
