The Underwood Law Firm completed its merger with the Pampa law firm of Holt & Fields in September of 2008. Ken Fields of the Pampa office was born and raised in Shamrock, and, upon graduation from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1975, teamed with Bill Waters and David Holt to form the well- known firm of Waters, Holt & Fields for over thirty years. The Underwood Law Firm now carries on its Pampa practice in the same historic Combs- Worley Building where generations of lawyers have practiced since 1931.
Mr. Fields has maintained a diverse practice, representing businesses, estates, ranching families, banks, schools and other governmental units throughout the Texas Panhandle. He has for many years held the highest Peer Review AV rating awarded by Martindale- Hubbell, signifying his very high to preeminent legal skills and very high ethical standards.
He has served as President of the Board of Trustees, Pampa ISD, and Chairman of the Board of the Gray County Appraisal District, among many other organizations.
An amateur aviation historian, he has served on the General Staff of the Commemorative Air Force and is currently co- chairman of their American Combat Airman Hall of Fame.

- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
