A graduate of Harvard Law School and Harvard College (magna cum laude), Mr. Yamin has a diversified corporate background, representing a variety of domestic and international business enterprises, business leaders and entrepreneurs. Mr. Yamin concentrates on sophisticated corporate and commercial transactions, including the formation and governance of corporations, limited liability companies, joint ventures and partnerships; securities offerings (both public and private); venture capital transactions; mergers, acquisitions and leveraged buyouts; purchases and sales of businesses and business interests; borrowings and financings; and, the formation (or expansion) of national and international distribution networks and licensing arrangements.
To meet his clients' needs, Mr. Yamin assumes responsibility for a broad range of activities, including the negotiation, structuring and preparation of contracts; corporate organizations and reorganizations; employment and shareholders' agreements; licensing and investment transactions; equity and debt financings; and, real estate and construction matters.

Mr. Yamin's footwear and leather manufacturing and distribution clients have included Sam & Libby, Inc. and Arthur & Teddy Edelman, Ltd. His design, architectural and furniture manufacturing clients have included Andree Putman, Ecart International, Chantiers Baudet and Cetra Ruddy. His communications and publishing clients have included the Public Broadcasting System Educational Television Network of South Carolina (corporate and television matters) and Davis Publications, Inc.
He represents a number of not-for-profit organizations; was a Trustee of the Governor's Committee on Scholastic Achievement; and, has served as an officer and on the Board of Managers of the Harvard Club of New York City and as an Officer and Trustee of its Scholarship Foundation.He has also dealt with planning and zoning matters and was Chair of Manhattan Community Board 6 and a member of the Manhattan Borough Board.He has also served at different times as an Elected and as an Appointed Director of the Harvard Alumni Association.
Mr. Yamin is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York; the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He served as a Naval Officer during the Korean War.
