Litigation - We provide representation in state and federal courts, and before administrative agencies. This includes claims for contract balances, extras, delays, specification interpretations, acceleration, termination, unforeseen conditions, OSHA matters and all other construction disputes.
Alternative Dispute Resolution - We have extensive experience in arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. We represent our clients in these forums and we also act as mediators and arbitrators in construction industry dispute resolution. Public Bidding and Contract Law - We have expertise in all statutes dealing with public bidding and contract law, including Massachusetts bidding laws for general contractors and filed subcontractors. We handle disputes arising from bidding, such as contract awards, bid protests and bid mistakes both in administrative proceedings and in court.
Mechanic's Lien Law - We prepare and enforce liens for contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on private projects. We review the validity of liens for owners and their lenders.
Surety and Bond Law - We perfect and pursue bond claims for subcontractors and suppliers on private, state and federal projects. We advise general contractors and owners as to their rights and obligations under payment and performance bonds.
Seminars - We have participated in numerous seminars and panel discussions before construction industry and legal organizations encompassing all aspects of construction law. We periodically publish a newsletter, Construction Law Comments, to provide general legal information of interest to the construction industry.
