Mr. Kufus practices in the areas of Family Law, Probate, Guardianship/Conservatorship, Estate Planning, Real Estate, Elder Law, Civil Commitment and General Civil Practice; being a member of the Ramsey County Civil Commitment Defense Panel for eighteen (18) years. Mr. Kufus is the recipient of the 1996 Hamline University Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award and the 1993 Midway YMCA Distinguished Leadership Award.
Mr. Kufus is the past Chairperson of the Ramsey County Bar Association Family Law Section, past President of the Hamline University Alumni Association, past President of the Midway Civic and Commerce Association, a past director of the St. Paul Chamber of Commerce and past director of the Mental Health Association of Minnesota. He is currently Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Keystone Community Services, F/K/A Merriam Park Community Services and a Director of the Hamline University Alumni Annual Fund Board.
Mr. Kufus is a veteran, having served as a Military Intelligence Counter-Intelligence Specialist with the 101st Airborne Division in the Republic of South Vietnam.
