She has been active in state and local bar associations, professional and civic organizations, and has been a speaker and trainer on collaborative practice, mediation, litigation, and family law issues both to the public and to members of the legal profession both within the state of Massachusetts and outside of Massachusetts. Attorney Levitt is currently the President of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council (MCLC). She is a former board member of the Massachusetts Council of Family Mediation (MCFM), and she has met MCFM's standards for certification as a divorce mediator. She is also an arbitrator for the Massachusetts Bar Association Fee Arbitration Board, and a member of the Massachusetts Trial Court Standing Committee on Dispute Resolution where she also chairs their Education Sub-Committee.
