Tracy L. Tracy completed his undergraduate studies at the Missouri Western State College, where he obtained a B.S. in Political Science and a minor in business with an emphasis in marketing in 1986. Tracy attended law school at the University of Missouri - Kansas City and obtained his law degree in 1989. He served four years as a member of the Bankruptcy Ad Hoc Committee for the Western District of Missouri, including one as its Chairman. Tracy is currently a member of the following bar associations: American Bar Association, Missouri Bar, Kansas Bar Association, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Kansas City Bankruptcy Bar Association, and American Bankruptcy Institute. Over the years, Tracy is a frequent guest speaker at the Missouri Bar Annual Bankruptcy Institute, the American Bankruptcy Institute Annual Midwestern Bankruptcy Institute, and various Kansas City Bankruptcy Bar Association seminars. He serves as a member of the Legal Aid of Western Missouri Voluntary Attorney Project. Tracy is certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification, and has been selected as a Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyer every year since 2007.
