Paul N. Ambrose, Jr. chairs the New Jersey firm's office of estate planning, estate litigation and tax practice. Mr. Ambrose has concentrated his practice in the following areas of the law: Corporate law, Taxation, Trusts & Estates, Real Estate, Franchise law, Internal Revenue Service disputes both civil and criminal, Probate and Estate litigation, Commercial transactions and litigation.

Interaction with taxing authorities can be both distressing and unsettling. Mr. Ambrose has represented clients in a variety of matters before the Internal Revenue Service, Division of Taxation of New Jersey and Department of Labor. He is committed to protecting the financial and legal interests of the firm's clients facing those taxing authorities. Mr. Ambrose works directly with our firm's clients in conjunction with accountants, former Internal Revenue Services' Agents and specialists, to create a tax team that focuses their efforts on strategic and tactical decisions at the onset of an inquiry to assist the clients in avoiding or minimizing tax exposure.

Mr. Ambrose has represented proponents and contestants of wills and litigated a wide variety of issues in probate and estate litigation. He has been involved in preparing estate plans, including Wills, Insurance Trusts, Living Wills, Advance Medical Directives, Personal Residence Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, Revocable Living Trusts, Family Limited Partnerships or Limited Liability Companies.

Mr. Ambrose has extensive experience with all areas of franchise and distributorship litigation and dispute resolution, representing numerous franchisors and franchisees and distributors and distributees. Whether negotiating a franchise agreement, litigating a distributor termination, or drawing up franchise business plans, Mr. Ambrose can provide professional services to his clients.

Mr. Ambrose was counsel to the noncustodial spouse in the seminal family law case regarding joint de facto custody after the New Jersey Supreme Court relaxed the law for custodial parents to relocate entitle, O'Connor vs. O'Connor, 349 N.J. Super. 381 (App. Div. 2002)
