Overview
Jeffrey J. Gordon was born in Long Branch, New Jersey, and was admitted to the State Bar of California as well as all Federal District Courts in California in 1997. Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona in 1993. Thereafter, he graduated magna cum laude from Southwestern Law School in 1997. His academic honors include receiving the Exceptional Achievement Award in Federal Income Tax, Legislation and Securities Law, as well as being a member of the Dean’s List and Southwestern’s Trial Advocacy Honors Program. He is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and Defense Research Institute. Jeff has been active in Civil litigation for over 15 years and has extensive experience in areas of: employment law, personal injury, products liability and insurance coverage. He has successfully handled cases from inception through trial and recently obtained a defense verdict on behalf of Continental Tire in a four-week product liability trial in Alameda County, Oakland. Jeff has also had tremendous success in pretrial law and motion over his career, obtaining dismissals and judgments in his clients’ favor and thus avoiding the need for further litigation on numerous occasions. Jeff has been selected as a Southern California Super Lawyer in the area of product liability defense for the last five years by Los Angeles Magazine.
