Not all lawyers are created equal!

We are small enough to care about our client's legal issues and transactions. We listen, we keep our clients posted on all developments as they arise in their transaction and/or case. We give our clients peace of mind!

Our Real Estate Practice includes but is not limited to representation from Contract to Closing. We represent Buyers, Sellers, Mortgage Brokers, Lenders, Banks and Private Finance Lenders.

Although a large part of our practice is Real Estate and Title Insurance, we are passionate about Litigation too. We handle all aspects of Civil Litigation Defense and help you evaluate your options before spending needless attorney's fees in costly litigation. We also have a Foreclosure litigation practice providing Borrowers with foreclosure defense, and Third Party Investors at public auction with objections to their sale, and writs of possession. Whether your goal is to save your home or buy time to sell your home, refinance, negotiate a modification or short sale with your lender in lieu of foreclosure we can help provide the Foreclosure defense until you accomplish your goal.

We also provide a broad range of corporate and small business legal services to professionals and small business owners. We serve as General Counsel to many South Florida Small Businesses from initial formation, corporate forms and business agreements, operating agreements, vendor contracts, leases, collections and civil litigation disputes. How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
