Hired Law firm 2021-2022Charlie Fife is an incredibly skilled lawyer. I was thoroughly impressed by his capacity to fight for me in every way imaginable. He knew of new laws that had just been passed at the state level only months prior to walking into court for sentencing and that knowledge proved to be invaluable. He convinced the judge to consider the newly minted laws, which provided relief to persons with highly-specific circumstances at home. This information completely changed the trajectory of my sentencing. In addition, he went above and beyond to help me organize an event to raise community involvement in drunk driving prevention. He got to know me as a person and truly cared about my well being, as well as my family's capacity to rebound from the adversity we faced due to my error in judgement. I would strongly urge anyone I cared about to utilize Charlie's services if they found themselves in a similar circumstance. He deserves 10 out of 5 stars! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, Mr. Fife!

Hired Law firm 2018-2020I have to say if you want true representation you need to hire Danny and Charlie. These guys are the best attorneys I've ever met. They're honest, fair, and trustworthy. Most importantly for me was they crossed every T and dotted every I. Not to mention, they will help you through the entire process.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
