LISA J. FRISELLA, is a 2000 graduate of the Saint Louis University School of Law, and was a visiting student at the University of San Diego School of Law during her third year. She graduated from Saint Louis University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Certificate of Business. She also obtained a Master of Arts in Public Administration in 1997. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2001.
Since 2006, Ms. Frisella has been working closely with clients, trustees, beneficiaries, conservators, guardians and heirs creating estate planning documents, litigating trust matters, heirship petitions and will contests on their behalf, providing advice regarding trust administration, and pursuing financial elder abuse claims against individuals and companies. Prior to founding Frisella Neilson, APC, Ms. Frisella focused on civil litigation including antitrust, consumer protection and complex commercial litigation with a San Diego boutique law firm. Additionally, Ms. Frisella previously practiced in estate planning in association with a group that provided capital management, accounting and real estate services.
Ms. Frisella is an active member of the community, participating in County Bar Association, Lawyers Club and Probate Attorneys of San Diego events and local community outreach efforts, serving as co-chair of the SDCBA Golf Tournament committee, and lecturing at a local community college regarding trusts and estates. Ms. Frisella is a frequent lecturer on issues ranging from estate planning to trust litigation. She was recently a featured speaker on Estate Planning issues at a local KPBS Library Event with participants from KPBS, UC San Diego, and San Diego Public Library Foundation.
