Specifically, Ms. Klein assists individuals in the areas of estate planning, gifting, guardianships, conservatorships, health care advance directives, powers of attorney, probate, taxes, trusts and wills, and estate administration.
Ms. Klein is admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado and is a member of the Trust and Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association, where she has served as the chair and co-chair of the Statutory Revisions Committee, chair of the Rules and Forms Committee and member of the Executive Council. She is also a member of the Denver Bar Assocation and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section of the American Bar Association.
Ms. Klein’s experience and professionalism has been repeatedly noted by her peers. In 2015, she was elected a Fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Additionally, Ms. Klein was selected as a Superlawyer’s Rising Star for the years 2009-2015 and Superlawyer for the years 2016-2020, and as one of the Best Lawyers of America for 2016-2020.
Ms. Klein is a member of the Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation Legacy Planning Advisory Council. She also welcomes the opportunity to educate the public through speaking.She has voluntarily spoken to many organizations in the past, including the Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado and Firefly Autism.
Ms. Klein received her law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, in psychology from the University of Colorado. As an undergraduate, Ms. Klein completed a legal internship with the Weld County District Attorney's office, where she assisted with the Youth Diversion Program. Ms. Klein also completed an internship with the Boulder County Mental Health Center mentoring emotionally-disabled youth.
Kerri is a native of Colorado, born and raised in Kersey, Colorado. She enjoys spending time with her two young children.She loves the outdoors and going hiking, cycling, and snowshoeing. She is also an amateur photographer and enjoys traveling.
