Armstrong, LLC a full service family law firm dedicated to helping people protect their wealth during a divorce so that they can become happier and more successful. Jennifer has devoted herself to helping individuals successfully close one chapter of their lives and move on to the next. Our firm is enthusiastic in changing the way individuals view divorce. For some divorce can seem overwhelming and the process emotionally and financially draining but it doesn't have to be. The firm is committed to assisting our clients in becoming more knowledgeable about their options, determining what options best suits the client's needs and that of their family and moving forward. Our belief is that your divorce or family law matter does not have to define you, it is not who you are but one moment in time on your way to a happier and more successful life.

Jennifer was born and raised in New Jersey and is a graduate of Stockton University and Widener University School of Law. Jennifer has been practicing family law since 2002.

Jennifer is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Section, the Ocean County Bar Association Family Law Committee and Women's Committee, a panelist for the Ocean County Bar Matrimonial Early Settlement Panel program and a panel member on the Supreme Court of New Jersey District IIIA Fee Arbitration Committee. How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
