Attorney Chris is the best in Central Florida!!! I tried a Lawyer firm in South Florida upon my divorce in 2007 and again after loosing my house on a short sale in 2014 and they keep saying I did not qualify to field any charter? then once in Osceola county I tried a local firm that was very unprofessional and literally took me to do my first bad review to any business in order to get the filling fee back after 18 month of unsuccessfully process and loosing 1200.00 on services that were not provided to me. I finally desperate one morning I call Attorney Chris and really she was an angel from heaven!!! she listening to me provably for around 25 min and then advice and guarantied that if I wanted to be a Debt Free I could even without money... Yes, she will work with you in any way or form according to your case and needs and as short as 10 days later after you complete your paperwork she will be filling for you! lest than a month I just when to court today and the process literally took 2.6 minutes. My health and well being to know that I am debt free today is priceless. Thanks, Attorney Christ (CS Hansley Law Firm) Osceola County, Brevard County Orange and Seminole County. You all can benefit of her Great and Professional Care and advises.

Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
