Overview
Sara Scurlock was born in Houma, Louisiana. She received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern Mississippi and thereafter, earned her Juris Doctorate from Tulane University School of Law. While in law school, Sara clerked with the Tulane Law School Civil Litigation Clinic, which provides pro bono representation to indigent clients and has continued pro bono work into her practice. Sara is an AV Preeminent rated attorney as recognized by her peers and practices primarily in the areas of insurance defense and insurance coverage, construction and workers compensation. She has successfully defended cases in both the federal and state district courts of Louisiana, and has handled winning appeals at various Circuit Courts, and the Louisiana Supreme Court. Sara is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeal, Fifth Circuit, United States District Courts, Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana and all Louisiana state courts. She is married and is the mother of two daughters.
