Rosemary is a seasoned medical expert who fights tirelessly for patients injured due to medical negligence. With over two decades of successful practice in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, she has earned the prestigious status of a Fellow Emeritus of the American College of Cardiology. As an MD/Esq., she is a founding member and Fellow of the College of Legal Medicine.

After obtaining her rotorcraft license in 2002, Rosemary decided to pursue a career in law and graduated with honors from Seton Hall University School of Law. She passed the NJ bar and began her legal career by starting a consulting firm where she specialized in assessing new medical technologies and insurance appeals. Rosemary then transitioned into private practice specializing in medical malpractice cases where she was able to combine her medical and legal expertise to obtain justice for her clients.

When not advocating for her clients, Rosemary indulges in a diverse range of hobbies. She is an avid Rotorcraft pilot, a certified master scuba diver, and enjoys downhill skiing. She is also passionate about architecture, having previously owned a Norman F. Carver designed home in Skillman and now residing in a unique Lucien Pebbles steel and glass design by David Bosco, where she lives with her daughter.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
