Wesley Browne serves as lead attorney for Browne Law Office, P.S.C. He began his legal career as a prosecutor in Madison County before entering private practice. Wes was President of the Madison County Bar Association from 2008-2009. He is also a member of the Kentucky Justice Association as well as an appointed member of the City of Richmond Ethics Commission. Wes is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law where he attended on a trial advocacy scholarship.
Wes accepts the following types of cases: Automobile Accidents (from minor car wrecks to serious collisions), Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Criminal Law (both misdemeanor and felony), Traffic (including speeding tickets), DUI, DWI, Criminal Record Expungements, Consumer Protection and Uncontested Divorce.
Wes handles cases in Madison County, Kentucky (both Richmond and Berea) as well as surrounding counties including Clark County, Rockcastle County, Estill County, Jackson County, and Fayette County.
Aside from his legal practice, Wes volunteers his time coaching numerous youth sports and serves on a youth sports board. In addition, he is an active volunteer for both the high school and Eastern Kentucky University mock trial teams as well as the Teen Court program. He, along with a local judge, founded the Madison County C.A.R.E. (Credit Abuse Resistance Education) program and he also serves on the Weed and Seed crime prevention board.
Browne Law Office is located at 244 South Second Street in downtown Richmond, just off the campus of EKU near Madison Middle School.
