Cary has represented public and private companies involved in the financial, technology, pharmaceutical, spirits, real estate, manufacturing, and energy industries. He has advised boards in derivative litigation and internal investigations and has represented directors and officers in a variety of civil and criminal proceedings. Recently, Cary was one of the lead attorneys representing a financial services company and obtained a complete dismissal of a federal racketeering class action. He also recently achieved a defense judgment for a spirits company in a case brought by the former president of the company.
Cary has been invited to speak on a number of corporate issues, including "Privilege and the Attorney-Client Relationship After McNulty and Reyes: How to Respond to the Changing Enforcement and Ethical Landscape" and "Stock Options: Looking Back and Moving Forward."
