Bret C. Green received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University. From there, he interned at the Brazos County District Attorneys Office which eventually led him to St. Mary's University School of Law where he earned his Law Degree in 2000. In law school, Mr. Green tutored several classes within the Office of Academic Excellence, was President of Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity, won several mock trial competitions including the American Trial Lawyers Association Mock Trial Competition in Florida and was awarded Best Speaker in well over 20 rounds of competition. Mr. Green received the distinguished Judge Jack B. Miller Educating for Justice Award, an award given to one student in the graduating class for excellence in both academics and trial advocacy, and was one of only ten students selected into the prestigious Order of Barristers.
Mr. Green is recognized as a keynote panelist and speaker, sharing his message of positivity, growth and overcoming extreme adversity to small groups of twenty to large crowds of over 10,000 people. Mr. Green co-hosts a weekly conference call focused on positive self-talk and will be releasing his book, The Three Rings and The Y of Life, in December of 2022. Mr. Green is the owner of Green Legal, P.C., and serves as Of Counsel for Black & Skaggs, P.C., where he assists in insurance defense litigation. During his 20 year career, Mr. Green has represented individual clients, small business owners and larger businesses such as HEB and Midas. Mr. Green is a member of the State Bar's Texas Lawyers Assistance Program, the Texas Criminal Defense Association and the San Antonio Criminal Defense Association. Mr. Green is also certified guardian by and through the State Bar of Texas.
Mr. Green and his wife Cindy have two children and two awesome grandchildren. Mr. Green enjoys competing in Ironman Triathlons, spending time with God and his family, fighting zealously for his clients, and breathing positivity and life into all he meets. Mr. Green has coined the phrase "You are Loved and You Matter", and he strives to convince everyone he meets of that absolute truth.
