Upon the dissolution of a predecessor firm, Friend, Wilson, Draper & Bowling, on February 1, 1994, partners Gordon F. Wilson, Jr. and David A. Bowling decided to establish a new firm, dedicated to providing effective legal representation to individuals and organizations. Thus, on March 1, 1994, the law firm of Wilson & Bowling was born. Upon the dissolution of a predecessor firm, Friend, Wilson, Draper & Bowling, on February 1, 1994, partners Gordon F. Wilson, Jr. and David A. Bowling decided to establish a new firm, dedicated to providing effective legal representation to individuals and organizations. Thus, on March 1, 1994, the law firm of Wilson & Bowling was born. On August 1, 2007, Susannah C. McKinney became a partner of the firm now named Wilson, Bowling & McKinney, APLC. Mr. Wilson retired from active practice with the firm in 2008 and remains "of counsel" to the firm.

Throughout their careers, Mr. Bowling and Ms. McKinney have handled numerous complex cases involving medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, business, insurance, construction, environmental and other civil litigation. Together with associate Kathryn A. Wasik, they handle civil trial and appellate litigation, including complex medical malpractice and personal injury cases, throughout Louisiana and Mississippi.
