Overview
Hilary has been a shareholder of Heekin Litigation Group since November, 2013. Prior to becoming a shareholder, Hilary practiced as an associate attorney with the firm beginning in September, 2007. Hilary has experience representing individuals and businesses, both large and small, in a variety of practice areas. Those practice areas include business litigation, contract disputes, construction litigation, and franchise disputes. She also has experience representing both commercial and residential associations.
Since 2007, Hilary has gained valuable experience representing clients through all phases of litigation, including bench and jury trials. Hilary has experience practicing throughout the State of Florida, and in the United States Federal Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Hilary was born in Marietta, Georgia and grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia. Hilary obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in May, 2004. Following graduation from Georgia, Hilary enrolled at Florida Coastal School of Law where she obtained her juris doctorate degree. Hilary clerked with Heekin, Malin & Wenzel throughout her final year of law school and accepted a position with the firm after graduating from Florida Coastal.
Hilary is admitted to practice in the State of Florida as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association.
Hilary lives in Saint Johns County with her husband and young daughter. She enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and supporting local athletics.
