Michael R Herron is a native of Tampa, Florida who graduated from ChamberlainHigh School in 1986. Upon graduating, Michael joined the U.S. Army for 4 years and was accepted into an elite Airborne Infantry Unit. Michael spent his first 2 years stationed in Vicenza, Italy and his military career culminated with a combat tour during Operation Desert Storm. His unit in Desert Storm was heralded for making one of the deepest penetrations into enemy territory as well as with the destruction of an elite Iraqi Republican Guard Unit.

After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the military, Michael earned a B.A. in History from The Florida State University and a Law Degree from NovaSoutheasternUniversity. Upon graduation from LawSchool in 1997, he joined the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office where he prosecuted DUI, Traffic and Criminal Offenses. In 1999, Michael went into private practice with a focus on Injury, DUI and Criminal cases. Michael has conducted over 60 Jury Trials, 250 Bench Trials and Thousands of Court appearances. As of January 2010, Mr. Herron has personally handled in excess of 3000 Criminal and Traffic cases and 1,500 accident and injury cases. Michael lives in Tampa with his Wife, 2 children and a German Shepard.
