Sarah Rogers is a partner in the New York office of Brewer, Attorneys & Counselors. Her practice focuses on complex commercial, securities, and insolvency-related litigation. In addition, Ms. Rogers counsels clients across a wide variety of industries regarding strategic communications and crisis management in high-stakes investigations and disputes.

Before joining Brewer, Attorneys and Counselors, Ms. Rogers worked in-house for Philip Morris International, managing litigation and regulatory concerns in the Americas. She worked previously at Latham & Watkins LLP.

Ms. Rogers’ experience includes:

  • Representation of the majority shareholder of the world’s largest lead manufacturer in a putative multi-billion euro debt litigation commenced by GoldenTree, Fortress, and additional hedge funds;
  • Representation of the National Rifle Association in connection with civil, regulatory, and First Amendment matters;
  • Representation of multiple tobacco companies in smoking-and-health matters;
  • Representation of a religious nonprofit in connection with sexual harassment allegations;
  • Representation of Caesars Acquisition Corp. in connection with the Caesars bankruptcy;
  • Representation of bondholders and administrative agents in various bankruptcy proceedings;
  • Representation of an international investment bank in connection with government investigations, bondholder class actions, and other matters pertaining to residential mortgage-backed securities;
  • Representation of senior executives of multiple global financial institutions in federal, state and regulatory investigations concerning potential violations of U.S. sanctions laws;
  • Representation of Koch Minerals S.à.r.l. in an expropriation dispute with the government of Venezuela; and
  • Representation of Ernst & Young in disputes concerning tax strategies.
