Overview

Ms. Armstrong received her undergraduate degree in English from the University of Texas at Austin in May of 2004. She began her studies at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas in August of that same year. While attending law school, Ms. Armstrong worked part time as a law clerk for several Houston area firms. These firms practiced in a variety of areas including commercial litigation, employment law, and probate. Her interest in bankruptcy led her to obtain a law clerk position with Cage, Hill&Niehaus, LLP in 2006. There she worked for Lowell Cage and Joseph Hill, two Houston area chapter 7 panel trustees.

Ms. Armstrong developed her knowledge of bankruptcy practice and general civil litigation while working for Cage Hill and continued to work for the firm as an attorney upon her graduation from law school in May of 2007.

Ms. Armstrong met her husband, Ron Armstrong, II while attending South Texas College of Law in Houston. The two moved to Mr. Armstrong's hometown of Brownsville, Texas in 2008 and began practicing law with Mr. Armstrong's father. As a member of The Armstrong Firm, Ms. Armstrong continues to represent debtors and creditors in bankruptcy cases, but has expanded her practice to include real estate and other business litigation. She also represents personal injury Plaintiffs in state and federal court and has also represented claimants in federal administrative cases. Finally, Ms. Armstrong represents consumers in cases filed under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, and has recently represented homeowners in wrongful foreclosure cases.
